How to configure proxy in Eclipse?

  1. Open Eclipse IDE, select Window then Preferences.
  2. Click the Network Connections.
  3. Select Manual from the Action Providerdrop down list.
  4. Select the Http in the list and click Edit.
  5. Fill in the IP address or Hostname of the proxy server you want to connect to and enter the port number which is being used by the proxy server.
  6. Enter the Username and Password if any.
  7. Click Ok and you are done.
