How to configure VPN connection (Windows 7)?

Open the Control Panel, and click the Network and Sharing Center menu.
Under Change your network settings, click the Set up a new connection or network menu.
Select the option Connect to a workplace, and click the Next button.
Select the option No, create a new connection, and click the Next button.
Select the option Use my Internet connection (VPN).
In the Internet address box, type the IP address or host name of the proxy.
In the Destination name box, type the name of this new connection.
Select the Don't connect now; just set it up so I can connect later check box.
In the User name box, type the username to connect to the proxy server.
In the Password box, type the password.
Select the Remember this password check box.
In the next window, click Connect now to test your proxy configuration.
