How to configure proxy in JMeter?

  1. Go to JMETER_HOME/bin and start JMeter with jmeterw.cmd on Windows and jmeter on Linux/Unix.
  2. Next, select WorkBench.
  3. Right click on WorkBench then Add -> Non-test elements -> HTTP Proxy Server.
  4. You can add in URL Patterns to include and URL Patterns to exclude.
  5. Next, right click on HTTP Proxy Server then Add -> Listener -> View Results Tree.
  6. Then, return to HTTP Proxy Server, click 'Start' button at the bottom.
